    No, MiniFloat can not replace a life vest, it serves as a recreational water safety device. MiniFloat is a highly adaptable system designed to enhance water safety; however, it remains a backup device as user action is necessary to trigger the inflation.

  • How small is the MiniFloat?

    The MiniFloat is designed to be extremely compact for utmost portability. Its dimensions are 100 x 35 x 35mm (4 x 1.4 x 1.4 in), making it easy to carry without being obstructive. Weight: 95g (0.2 lb). Buoyancy: 50N 

  • What is the weight limit the MiniFloat can support?

  • Can MiniFloat be reused?

    MiniFloat can be reused up to 40 times. Simply remove the used MiniFloat CO2 cylinder, fold the inflatable part, screw in the new MiniFloat CO2 Cylinder, and you’re ready to return to the beach.

  • How does MiniFloat work?

    If assistance is required, just pull the lever to start the buoy's inflation by piercing the CO2 cartridge. In moments, the buoyancy is provided as the buoy fills up. Leaning on the MiniFloat buoy raises your head above the water for added safety.

  • Safety Notes

    2. Minifloat is neither a life-saving device nor a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children.
    3. Minifloat provides buoyancy support in water but does not offer protection in cases of unconsciousness.
    4. Always secure Minifloat to your swimwear or gear using the safety cord before use.
    5. After deployment, the device must be rearmed. The CO2 cartridge is designed for a single use. Be sure to rinse the device with fresh water after contact with saltwater or sand.
    6. Never point the device at your face or body when activating.
    7. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself.
    8. Avoid using Minifloat during diving, as its rapid ascent to the surface could pose a risk to your health.
    9. This device includes a CO2 cartridge containing pressurized gas. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, puncturing, or storing the device in temperatures exceeding 120°F (49°C).
  • Travel

    1. Original Minifloat CO₂ cartridges contain 12 g of pressurized, non-flammable CO₂ gas and are classified as hazardous materials for air transport.

    2. Passengers may carry up to four (4) 12 g CO₂ cartridges in both carry-on and checked baggage, subject to approval by the airline.
      Always declare CO₂ cartridges to the airline before departure.

    3. Minifloat and CO₂ cartridges must be transported separately.
  • Maintenance

    • Minifloat is manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards. Each unit is tested before being shipped.
    • Minifloat can be activated up to 50 times.
    • We recommend to inspect the inflatable part, safety cord, and CO₂ cartridge for any signs of damage before each use.
    • After exposure to saltwater, rinse the inflatable part, trigger mechanism with pull lever thoroughly with fresh water.
    • Always screw new Minifloat CO₂ cartridge into housing UNTIL TIGHT(!).
    • Ensure that no dust or sand is present under the pull lever, as it may affect the proper functioning of the device.

    • The pouch and belt may be disposed of with general waste.
    • CO₂ cartridges should only be disposed of in general waste if they are empty.
